 ...for Generations to Come

California Baptist Foundation’s Trust Division oversees nearly $100 million dollars, which creates revenue streams for Baptist ministries and other Kingdom causes across the states of California and Arizona, and ultimately, around the world.  Our goal is to increase and effectively manage trust assets for the benefit of Southern Baptist causes and charitably minded trustors.  The Trust Division has two main functions, resource development and resource management.

The primary goal of the Foundation’s Trust Development staff is to raise resources for Southern Baptist ministries.  We are committed to provide donor-focused assistance to individuals in facilitating present gifts, planned gifts, and deferred gifts through individual estate plans to Southern Baptist and Evangelical ministries.   Since 2003, the Trust Development team has assisted individuals in creating estate plans that are designed, specifically, to provide and protect the inheritance for family members, while at the same time introducing the opportunity to provide dollars for ministry causes.  The total dollars designated for ministry causes from these estate plans exceeds $225,000,000.

Trust Operations is fulfilling the Foundation’s fiduciary obligations as it serves as Trustee or Manager of the nearly $100 million dollar trust portfolio.  In addition, the Trust Operations staff is responsible for estate and probate administration, document preparation, trust funding, and audit compliance.

Together, the Trust Development and Trust Operations staff forms a cohesive unit, whose mission is to become the premier non-profit provider of Trust Development and Trust Management Services in the West.
